Nothing can be everything.
Nothing can be a calming reset of the mind when there is no immediate clarity in the chaos. I’ve allowed myself to be pushed to that edge on many occasions. Where there is too much going on, and all you really need is to think about nothing but your own breathing. It’s never a fun place to be. Pulling yourself away from that edge is a relief.
The black screen is meant to represent closed eyes and quiet retreat. Embracing mindfulness is embracing acceptance of the here and now. It is accepting when you can recognize the need to step back and retreat. It is a way to allow yourself to reboot as often as you need to in order to move forward.
Stopping to think about minimal to nothing, can be everything you need, to keep going.
