Kindergarten Halloween

The first day in Kindergarten that we had a substitute teacher, it was closer to Halloween. We all had an assignment to draw a picture describing what we wanted to be.

My plan was to be a ghost. Old bed sheet, eye holes, easy and done. The Charlie Brown and Garfield Halloween specials were my inspiration. Easy was efficient.

My parents had different plans. My Mother (whom I’ve long forgiven for this, believe me) insisted we had to dress up as clowns. I have zero intention of ever posting the pics but be assured we looked nothing even closely resembling clowns. We did not win this battle despite our insistence. Dad was no help at all….

A blessed Samhain to you all.
